Sit down with your children (whether they are your own kids or your students) and read the instructions to them. Help them through these projects and three fantastic things will happen.
1. They will become talented in art.
2. They will learn to describe the world with a practical vocabulary and,
3. You will have shared some of the highest quality time you have ever had with them. Find the balance between assertiveness and playfulness that will cause them to stick with each project until it is finished. It is that balance of responsibility and relationship, which will bring out the citizenship skills that launch children into the safely limitless.
